Title: Watch
In the morning light,
I awoke from slumber,
A shiver went up my spine,
They were watching me.
During midday,
Under the scorching sun,
I sensed eyes upon me,
I was being watched.
At afternoon,
While eating my luncheon,
I saw them clearly now,
With their watchful gaze.
Evening has come,
I rested for the day,
A tingle at my neck,
Told me of the watch.
With the cold night,
I tucked myself in bed,
Trying to fall asleep,
Under watchers sight.
Stroke of midnight,
Their presence still linger,
Growing strong all this time,
Safeguarding my heart.
