Being Loved While Loving

Title: Being Loved While Loving

Being loved deeply by someone,
Gives you strength.
While loving someone deeply,
Gives you courage.

Being loved deeply by someone,
Grants you freedom.
While loving someone deeply,
Grants you happiness.

Being loved deeply by someone,
Comes with intimacy.
While loving someone deeply,
Comes with commitment.

Being loved deeply by someone,
Is accompanied with respect.
While loving someone deeply,
Is accompanied with humility.

Being loved deeply by someone,
Fosters communication.
While loving someone deeply,
Fosters trust.

Being loved deeply by someone,
Requires a softened heart.
While loving someone deeply,
Requires a faithful one.

Hahas... I'm really letting the romantic side of me shine through this poem.

Erm... Just to clarify, there is a common misunderstanding on the definition of the word "romantic". Being romantic has actually nothing to do with doing sweet or thoughtful things for the one you love, although it does come naturally with romance.

Confused?

Let me give an analogy: Ming Yu drinking coffee has nothing to do with happiness although to him, happiness is a byproduct of drinking coffee.

So you see... being sweet and thoughtful comes with being romantic, but do not mean romantic by themselves.

So what is being romantic??

The Oxford dictionary states that: "It is an adjetive to describe someone who values emotion over form."

The ClayJar dictionary states that: "It is an adjetive to describe someone in love with being in love." (If you don't get it then think a little and it will come to you.)

Loving someone does NOT mean being able to look past their flaws. Instead, it is to see the person for who he/she is, while accepting and loving their flaws as well.

Oooooooook... ... I'm done with this little discussion about love, hahas... Hey, I actually posted something interesting for once ^_^V hahas...

Depending on the feedback, I may decide to continue discussing about relationships for awhile... not just BGR, but on relationships between people in general.

I still have a part for guys and another for girls... hahas... just tag me or MSN me about your thoughts^^

(NOTE: I'm mainly putting across my ideals here, which are also my standards for myself... but as I said... it's just me. So anyone is free to disagree if they want to^^ I am not trying to psycho people to follow my standards, just giving food for thought.)
